BJ Con-Sew, Inc. will be celebrating its 25th Anniversary on Oct. 26, 2017. The company, which was started by Jerry and Barbara Trotter of Asheboro, was incorporated on Oct. 26, 1992.

In commemoration of this special event, the company will be celebrating in different ways throughout the year. The founders of the company, the Trotters, were recognized at the company's annual Christmas dinner for starting the family-owned cut and sew manufacturing company that currently employs approximately 65 people. Also, employees with five years of service or more were recognized for their dedication to their jobs and the company. Twenty-two employees were recognized that afternoon.

Todd Trotter, son of the founders and C.O.O. of the company, said, "I really want to thank my parents for starting this business 25 years ago, and without their dedication and hard work, we wouldn't be where we are today. I also want to thank all our wonderful employees for their dedication and hard work through the years. Without them, we just wouldn't be here because it takes all of us working as a team to make this company work."
